Quality of Life Experts

Access the Quality of Life and Cancer platform

The National Clinical Research Platform for Quality of Life and Cancer is a network of French oncology researchers engaged in scientific exchanges and discussions on quality of life in cancer care. The expertise of the Platform’s 20 partner hospital and university units covers the human, economic and social sciences, clinical practice, epidemiology, methodology and psychometrics.

The scientific activities of the National Quality of Life and Cancer Platform focus on methodological and statistical support for clinical trials, epidemiological studies and research in the human and social sciences, as well as on advancing research into quality of life and improving its assessment to obtain robust, comparable and explicit results that can inform public-health recommendations and clinical practice.

Main research areas supported by the Platform

  • Conceptual development and integrative approaches to quality of life
  • Validation, selection and use of quality-of-life questionnaires
  • Longitudinal analyses of quality of life
  • Prognostic value of quality of life and its relationship with clinical criteria

The Quality of Life and Cancer Platform receives institutional support from the French League Against Cancer, the French National Cancer Institute (INCa) and its Cancéropôles.
